Product details
UV sterilization lamp is a type of mercury lamp, in which the excited mercury atoms inside the lamp tube can emit characteristics of different wavelengths during transitions. The wavelength of ultraviolet light is between 100nm-400nm, and the human eye cannot see ultraviolet light.
Ultraviolet rays with wavelengths of 100-400nm, according to their effects and functions on the human body, are classified as UV-A, UV-B, UV-C, and V-UV
The wavelength of UV-C is between 200-280nm, with 254nm being able to effectively destroy the DNA molecular structure of microorganisms such as bacteria and viruses, achieving the purpose of sterilization.
VUV 185nm with a wavelength of 100-200nm can generate ozone, which can also have bactericidal and deodorizing effects. The 185nm wavelength can also decompose organic molecules in water, produce hydrogen and oxygen, free radicals, and oxidize organic molecules in water to carbon dioxide, achieving the goal of removing TOC.
High quality ultraviolet light tubes have a lifespan of 8000 to 13000 hours and require professional ballasts to ensure their longevity and efficiency. Direct exposure to strong ultraviolet light can cause burns to the skin or eyes, so relevant protective measures must be taken when maintaining ultraviolet sterilization lamps.
